The NC State Seafood Laboratory, part of the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences, represents NC State’s long-standing commitment to the North Carolina seafood industry and is located at the NC State Center for Marine Sciences and Technology in Morehead City, NC.
Laboratory staff provide solutions for the industry in product safety, processing technology and value-added products utilizing fresh- or salt-water fish and shellfish.
